JJ Integrative Family Law / Brand identity
Jessica Braude and Joelle Ruskin started JJ Integrative Family Law in January of 2022. They had a vision of a family law firm with an integrative approach that looked beyond legal services, such as the inclusion of mental health support when serving families going through a divorce.
Design Holmen designed a brand identity that captured the two Js (Jessica and Joelle) in a simple monogram. The serifs at the top of the Js form a pillar, a nod to the legal nature of the business while the bottom curves in to support and connect the Js. The connection speaks to the specialized integrative approach to family law.
The creation of the brand was truly a family affair with Joelle’s dad (Ron Ruskin) drawing beautiful editorial sketches to lend approachability and a tactile look and feel to the brand; a sure way to stand out in an otherwise corporate looking industry.
